Dear Parent/Carer,
Do you find your teen
-
overthinking
-
spiralling
-
ruminating
-
racing thoughts
-
having anxious or worrying thoughts
-
withdrawing through shyness
Or perhaps you feel that they think they have to be perfect or over achieve in order to be accepted?
They are all triggers for anxiety.
I would share with them there’s nothing wrong with them - and that we all do it at some time.
Anxiety is a signal, not an enemy. So, wouldn’t it be great for your teen to learn some processes in a creative and gentle way to help turn anxiety into a superpower, building
-
confidence
-
inner strength
-
inner calm
-
emotional resilience
-
courage
-
noticing or tuning your own abilities or strengths
And feel more free to let their light shine?

Journal to download and print is included in the course.

How does The Heart of Us ensure the privacy of its students during online courses and live sessions? At The Heart of Us, the privacy of all our students is paramount. Our programs include self-directed parts that remain unaffected by live participation. If we gather enough participants to conduct live sessions, we will record these sessions; however, not all recordings will be accessible. This is to ensure that personal privacy is protected. Instead, a replay version that respects student confidentiality will be available (blacking out sections), allowing participants to benefit from the session without compromising their privacy.
-
What happens if I have paid and the course doesn't go ahead? There is a minimum requirement of 5 students to form an online circle for a Live session for participants for this course. If the minimum number is not attained by 24 hours prior to the start of the course, then the course will become self-directed.
-
What about refunds? As mentioned in another Q&A, if the course does not go ahead, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel up to 48 hours prior to the course starting, a refund (minus $5 Admin fee) will be applicable. Less than 48 hours and the course beginning, there are no refunds. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact Karen via the contact form so we can discuss what is the best solution for you.

Disclaimer: Classes are COACHING not therapyPlease note that these class courses are COACHING and not therapy. The course is not a substitute for professional one-to-one therapy. The course encourages a student to learn to align to what they feel is right for them, and to find answers for themselves. If a student feels that they need more support, then I encourage them to access further professional help that is best suited to them.
-
Is this course going to be offered again or to others? Each version of the course is individual. If there are enough enquiries for it to repeat, or for other age groups, I will look at that. Please indicate on the Contact page and enrol in 'Heartfelt Happenings', my occasional eNewsletter.
